This is not a show grooming demo but will provide information on grooming their pet poodles at home. An explanation of tools, products and technics will be discussed.
Our General Meetings are scheduled on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in person at Home Run Inn Pizza - Bolingbrook. The address is 1280 W. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. It is located on the same side as the Jewel and Target, on the NE corner of Weber Road and Boughton Road. Please call or text Kathy Watson if you plan to attend to provide a headcount to the restaurant for seating, 708-269-2710.
The Objectives of The Great Lakes Poodle Club shall be to encourage and promote owning, breeding and training of purebred Poodles and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
In addition, The Great Lakes Poodle Club shall urge members and breeders to accept the Standard of the Breed as drawn by the parent club, The Poodle Club of America, Inc. and as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Poodles should be judged.
The Great Lakes Poodle Club provides on-going educational programs for the benefit of the general public as well as for club members. In addition, it does everything in it's power to protect and advance the interests of the breed and to encourage active participation and sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, matches, obedience trials and all other phases of the sport.
